Location: Quantico, VA Onsite (Monday–Friday, except Federal holidays)

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance required

Travel: Domestic and international travel required

Livis Consulting is seeking a highly capable and experienced Application Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will get top travel the world while training users to utilize the CODIS software.

Key Responsibilities

• Training Strategy & Development
• Partner with stakeholders to identify training priorities and improve delivery methods.
• Design training curriculum, including demonstrations, presentations, and supporting materials.
• Document training processes, guides, and procedural steps for sustained knowledge transfer.
• Training Delivery
• Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for groups ranging from ~20 to 500+ participants.
• Lead classroom instruction during multi-day training events (6–8 times annually).
• Provide live demonstrations during onboarding and for new software features/releases.
• Training Management & Support
• Coordinate logistics for training events across domestic and international locations.
• Prepare daily and after-action reports to measure training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Support the program Help Desk by assisting with user inquiries and troubleshooting.
• Continuous Learning & Application Expertise
• Stay current on application features, enhancements, and deprecations.
• Pursue professional development in adult learning theory, instructional technology, and related fields.

Required Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Onsite support Monday–Friday (Federal holidays excluded)
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
• 3+ years’ experience in training delivery or proficiency with custom application software
• Strong ability to convey complex information in a clear, simplified manner
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Confident, dynamic public speaking skills
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional best practices
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and related business tools

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Background in biological sciences or functional knowledge of DNA analysis
