About the role:
This position is responsible for the management of the Laboratory Operations at the Queens, NY location, which provides environmental analytical testing services to environmental consultants, industry and government. Responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory. Accountability includes maintaining instruments in good working order, managing analytical staff, meeting due dates, and meeting all requirements described in ALS data integrity, ethics and technical SOP's.
As a senior manager at the laboratory, this is a key position which sometimes requires work outside of “regular hours” on tasks such as instrument repair or troubleshooting.
