About the Job:

The position of Customer Service Representative is directly responsible for performing service functions as outlined below for customers, carriers, drivers and employees of the warehouse facility in a professional and timely fashion.

In This Role, You Will:

• Ensure safe, clean, and compliant working conditions in line with OSHA standards.

• Maintain accurate databases, reports, and customer/vendor information.

• Oversee inventory: receiving, monitoring, reporting levels, and creating activity reports.

• Schedule and coordinate inbound/outbound truck and rail activities, including appointments, pickups, and deliveries.

• Dispatch orders, prepare documentation, and communicate with drivers, vendors, and warehouse staff.

• Handle customer support: assess needs, answer calls, resolve complaints, and process invoicing.

• Manage EDI/ASN transmissions, track shipments, and record incidents or claims.

• Support cross-training, meetings, and other projects as assigned.

Desired:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required

• Associate Degree in related field is preferred.

• One year work history in similar role and environment is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with typing speed of at least 35 WPM.
