Construction Superintendent

A well-established and steadily growing commercial builder is seeking a dynamic Construction Superintendent to take ownership of high-impact job sites across Ohio. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role in Peebles, OH, for someone ready to make an immediate difference on active commercial projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily field operations, ensuring job site safety, construction quality, and timeline adherence.
• Own and manage the construction schedule from planning through execution, including coordinating inspections and utilities.
• Lead subcontractor teams, field staff, and vendors to deliver work that meets or exceeds project specifications.
• Track labor hours, material usage, and change orders, and maintain daily project logs and status reports.
• Conduct job site meetings to enforce OSHA compliance and promote safety-first work culture.
• Collaborate closely with project managers to relay updates and assist with resolving onsite issues.
• Verify craftsmanship aligns with design intent, proactively identifying and correcting deficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage regulations and environmental permitting on a per-project basis.
• Support and foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the build cycle.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of field supervision experience in commercial and/or industrial construction, including direct work with metal building systems.
• Deep knowledge of Ohio Building Code (OBC) inspections, OSHA safety standards, and government wage mandates.
• Proven ability to read construction drawings, manage schedules, and interpret complex project specifications.
• Strong communication, team leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with project management tools for scheduling and reporting.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred but not required.
