Job Description

Automotive Product Trainer

Remote – Nashua, NH (50 % regional travel)

Our client, an innovative, nationwide supplier of remanufactured drivetrain solutions, is expanding its award-winning Technical Training Academy. They seek an energetic Automotive Product Trainer who can turn complex transmission concepts into engaging, hands-on learning that boosts customer confidence and brand loyalty. If you love helping technicians “get the install right the first time” and enjoy life on the road mixed with creative course design from a home office, this newly created role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate in-shop, virtual, and regional seminars that make drivetrain technology intuitive for retail counter staff, commercial reps, and repair technicians.
  • Partner with the company’s online academy to create and refresh multimedia courseware, quick-reference guides, and video demos.
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting, installation best-practice guidance, and warranty support for customers across your territory.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, open houses, and customer appreciation events, delivering product demonstrations that convert curiosity into adoption.
  • Capture field insights, document emerging best practices, and relay them to engineering, product, and marketing teams to fuel continuous improvement.
  • Administer shop-certification audits, ensuring installations meet warranty and safety standards.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 3 + years of automotive technical training, field service, or parts-sales experience with hands-on knowledge of automatic transmissions or related drivetrain systems.
  • National automotive certification (ASE or equivalent) strongly preferred; formal technical degree a plus.
  • Natural teacher who can translate complex mechanical concepts into clear, engaging instruction for audiences of 5 to 50 people.
  • Proven track record working independently from a remote office and traveling up to 50 %.
  • Proficiency with presentation software, virtual-meeting platforms, and basic CRM/field-service tools.
  • Spanish/English bilingual skills welcomed.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary with performance bonus.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, plus 401(k) match.
  • Company-supplied laptop, phone stipend, and all travel expenses paid.
  • Paid industry certifications and ongoing professional-development budget.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • High impact. Your expertise directly reduces warranty claims and strengthens customer loyalty.
  • Creative freedom. Build fresh training content without layers of corporate red tape.
  • Growth path. As the academy scales, you’ll have opportunities to mentor peers and influence nationwide training strategy.
  • Mission-driven culture. Join a team that values craftsmanship, integrity, and making technicians’ lives easier every day.
