Litigation Associate - Columbia, SC

A well-established law firm seeks a highly motivated litigation associate to join its growing South Carolina team. Must live near Columbia. Possibility for some remote/hybrid work at managers discretion. Recent grads are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities :

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters
• Draft legal documents
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop winning litigation strategies.
• Maintain excellent communication and collaboration skills, effectively interacting with clients, opposing counsel, and the firm's legal team.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant legal developments and case law in South Carolina.
• Manage deadlines and adhere to strict ethical guidelines.
• Attend court hearings

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in civil litigation preferred
• Admitted to the South Carolina Bar, in good standing.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex legal matters to clients and the court.
• Superior time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload while meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in legal research databases and case management software.
